Dates are set by the USAV Pioneer Region.  Specific details are still being finalized...

Tryouts for 11u-14u will begin the weekend of October 25th/26th and continue through the evenings the week of October 27th.

Tryouts for 15u-18u will begin on Sunday, November 9th and continue through the evenings the week of November 10th.

The BRAVO Fee Assistance Scholarship Program takes into consideration the athlete's financial need, as well as her athletic achievements and aspirations, good citizenship, academics, and potential to play at the next level. BRAVO Scholarships will help cover the normal club tuition fees.  Full and/or partial scholarships may given at the discretion of the Board of Directors. This does not include individual travel expenses which are not covered in the BRAVO fee. Monies for these awards are possible due to corporate sponsors and private donations. The awards may vary from year to year.

Each athlete is responsible for purchasing a Tryout Membership from the USAV Pioneer Region PRIOR to registering and attending tryouts.  The Tryout Membership is $10 is payable directly to the USAV Pioneer Region during the purchase process.  Click the link below to purchase your athlete's Tryout Membership.

• During our tryout process, all players will undergo evaluations where they are individually rated on their skill level, overall performance in each position, game knowledge, court awareness, and communication during game play. Creating game-like situations is a priority along with individualized skill drills throughout the tryout process.  Our team of evaluators will also be ranking players based on attitude, interactions with other players, and effort. We know that mistakes happen!!! Don't dwell on mistakes, we are more interested in how you respond to a mistake. Just play hard and have fun. Team selections will be based on a panel of evaluators/coaches, and players will be placed accordingly based off of their performance at tryouts, registration type (travel vs. regional) and a collective decision from our evaluators.

• At the conclusion of tryouts, players will receive an offer to join a team. Please be patient during this process. We try to get team placements offered as soon as we can, but sometimes this can take awhile! 

•If you registered for a Travel team, but there isn't an available position or team, you may be offered an opportunity to play on a Regional team. Each team will need a minimum number of players and positional needs to form a team.  

•If you are not selected for a team or choose not to play with BRAVO, the registration will be cancelled and no further payments will be required.  If you paid in full you will be refunded less the tryout fee amount.  Tryout fees are non-refundable.

WHAT TO BRING TO TRYOUTS:

-Copy of USAV membership card

-USAV Medical waiver 

-Comfortable/athletic clothing ; a tryout t-shirt will be provided to wear during tryouts

-Sealable water bottle. Please no Stanley cups.  They spill when knocked over.

-Knee pads are highly recommended.
