Dianna Marshall - President

I’m Dianna Marshall. I have 30 years of playing experience, 20 years of coaching experience, and over 25 years experience administrating Club volleyball.  (Coordinator/Director/President, NKJV/BRAVO) Here in Bowling Green I’ve coached on the college and club level, worked various camps (WKU and BRAVO) for all age groups and given private lessons. Seventeen years ago, my husband, Ken, and I created BRAVO!  We were the BRAVO Directors for 11 years and six years ago I transitioned to President of the Board of Directors.  I played volleyball at Morehead State University, MSU.  I’ve been an Assistant College Coach both at MSU & also here at WKU.  I recently retired after working 25 years as an Academic Athletic Advisor at WKU.  I have a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Guidance & Counseling. Before moving here from N. Kentucky, I stayed very busy in the world of volleyball coaching NKJV and serving as their Coaching Coordinator, Tournament Director and Board member.  During this time, I also coached for Simon Kenton H.S. taking the team a long way ending with numerous tournament championships and state tournament appearances, all along teaching H.S. mathematics.  For 17 years now, I’ve been very committed to improving the sport of volleyball in this area, including teaching my two daughters, Riley (22, Presently playing Beach Volleyball for Austin Peay University) and JoEllen (14, 6th year with BRAVO), to play the game I love. I plan to continue to extend my knowledge and experience to BRAVO, helping so many families and young girls. It's exciting to see the commitment pay off with the success BRAVO has had, through the increased talent level in the area, the friendships and memories formed, and college spots earned!
